Robert Martin "Bob" Poske

Robert "Bob" Martin Poske, 62, of Parkersburg, WV passed away Sunday, November 17, 2024, with the compassionate care of Marietta Memorial Hospital.
Son of the late Aleen and William Poske Jr., Bob was born September 6, 1962 in Parkersburg, WV. He attended Parkersburg High School and was a member of the PHS Big Red Marching Band, graduating with the class of 1980.
Bob was a veteran serving time in the United States Air Force. He had a love for history and could have been considered a WWII enthusiast, being able to answer any question one would've had about WWII. Bob was a faithful Christian, attending Vienna Baptist Church. He worked for Diamond Glass Company, enjoyed fishing and listening to music, working at his brother's convenience store known as the 47 Carry Out in Parkersburg, and was an avid Cincinnati Reds and Miami Dolphins fan.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brother-in-law Mike Duncan, grandparents, and several aunts and uncles.
He is survived by two brothers, David Poske (Cheryl) of Parkersburg, WV and Carl Poske (Vera) of Ponte Vedra, FL; sister, Margaret Meeks (Lewis) of Fleming, OH; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will begin at 11 AM, Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home in Vienna with Pastors Bill Brown and Dwight Brohard officiating. Visitation will take place Friday, November 22, 2024, at the funeral home from 4:00PM to 8:00PM and one hour prior to service on Saturday.
