Robert Post, 80, passed away Sunday October 1, 2023. Robert (Bob) was born in
Waterbury, CT to parents Ruth and Jay Post, now deceased. Bob is survived by the
love of his life, his spouse of 60 years, Linda Post of Myrtle Beach, SC; a son Stephen
of Myrtle Beach, SC; a daughter Deborah (Allen Spiegler) of Venice, CA; a sister
Marilyn Ebreo of Watertown, CT and 5 grandchildren (Alex, Zach, Chelsea, Gigi and
Jordan.) Bob was a loving and caring man, raising his family in Vernon, CT before
retiring to Myrtle Beach. He was a franchisee of multiple 7Eleven stores in CT and had
his own tax preparation business (B&L Associates) that he continued to run in
retirement. He was known as MyTaxMan to his clients. In his leisure time, Bob traveled
the world with Linda and was a huge fan of UConn, the NY Giants and the WNBA. A
private ceremony for the family will be held at Myrtle Beach Funeral Home. In lieu of
flowers, memorial donations may be made to Temple Shalom, Treasurer, 4023 Terre
Blvd., Myrtle Beach, SC 29579.

Bob was my tax man for many years. He used to come to my house to do taxes (many years), then moved to Market Commons and would have clients mail or drop off documents. He was a consummate pro in the accounting and tax prep business, but more importantly was so likeable, friendly, and trustworthy. I could call anytime, and if not available, Bob would soon return my call. There was no question he could not answer or resolve. I had spoken with him not long ago and called him a few times this past summer. Sadly, today his son Stephen responded to a call I had made just yesterday and told me about Bob's passing. Bob loved his wife, son, and daughter and loved to brag about them. I will miss Bob Post. May God be with his wife, children, and all who knew and loved him. May God provide them comfort and peace.
