Robert Andrew Presswood Jr, 93, of Cleveland TN went to his Heavenly home on Friday, November 29, 2024, at Signature HealthCare of Cleveland.
Robert loved the Lord, his family, and driving the roads. He was a charter member of the Way of The Cross Baptist Church and pre-covid he attended Spring Place Church of God of Prophecy. He was a member of the Cleveland Masonic Lodge #134. Robert was the founder and owner of Presswood Electric Services, Inc. from 1970 to present. He retired from Weyhauser of Cleveland, TN at the age of 72 and was a Reserve Police Officer of Cleveland, TN for 13 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Annie Merrell Presswood; wife of 67 years, Peggy Hedden Presswood; son-in-law, Ronnie Guinn; siblings, Sarah Drinkwater, Lavada Haire, Horace Presswood, Andrew Presswood, Elzie Presswood, Willie Presswood, Fred Presswood, Virgil Presswood; brother-in-law, Doug Hedden; sisters-in-law, Edith Newton, Ruth Hedden, Lecia Colley, Evelyn Mason.
Left to cherish the many memories include his wife, Almeta Taylor Presswood of Cleveland, TN; children, Robert Presswood III of Cleveland, TN, Loretta (Ricky) Rummel and Rachel Guinn both of Benton, TN; step children, Bob (Harriett) Taylor, Vickie Taylor, Les (Keri) Taylor, and Debbie Taylor all of Cleveland, TN; grandchildren, Allie (Taylor) Williams, Courtney Presswood, April Danielle (Michael) Williams, Andrew Guinn; great grandchildren, Rhett Williams, Miley Ann Williams, Silas Williams, Salem Williams, Roslyn Williams; brothers-in-law, Dean (Betty) Hedden, Joe (Sybill) Hedden; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews; special family friends, Jamesie and Shirley Neyman, Tony Durbin.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Casey Kerr officiating.
A Graveside Service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Hedden Cemetery. Robert Presswood III, Andrew Guinn, Michael Williams, Tony Durbin, Mark Hedden, Jason Daughtery, Tristian Waddell, and Jeff Sneed will be serving as pallbearers.
Family and friends will gather from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, and from 12 noon to 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 5, 2024, at the funeral home.

Arrangements are entrusted to Higgins Funeral Home of Benton.
