Robert Earl Pullium

Robert Earl Pullium, age 85, of Black Mountain, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 11, 2025.
Earl was born on June 27, 1940, in Andrews, NC to the late Bill and Vinnie Pullium. Having grown up in the Swannanoa Valley, he pursued a career as a machinist, concluding his working life with 30 years of service at Precision Products in Arden. After retirement, he went on to volunteer with the Swannanoa Valley Christian Ministry. Earl was a longtime, faithful member of Lakewood Baptist Church where he helped with the RA's. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Frank and Woodrow Pullium.
Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 63 years, Katie Dalton Pullium; son, Philip Earl Pullium and his wife, Melissa Smith Pullium of Black Mountain; brothers, Harold Pullium (Carol) and Carl Pullium (Annette); and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, from 1:00 to 2:00pm at Harwood Home for Funerals. A celebration of life service will immediately follow at the funeral home with his brother, Rev. Harold Pullium officiating. The burial will be in Mountain View Memorial Park.
