Robert Puskas Obituary

Robert "Bob" Puskas, 68, of Marianna, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2024, in his home. He was born June 17, 1955 in Washington, a son of the late John and Margaret Psenicak Puskas. Robert was a 1973 graduate of Beth Center High School. He was employed as a highway foreman with PennDOT for over 26 years. Bob was a hardworking, spiritual person who found God in nature. As an avid outdoorsman he loved hunting, especially deer and pheasant, taking many trips with his son and hunting buddies, fly fishing and tying flies. He also enjoyed woodworking and for the past 10 years, and collecting coins. Surviving are two children, Rob Puskas (Kristin) of Beaver Falls, and Alissa Baggett (Tim) of Yorktown, Va.; he was the proud grandfather of four grandchildren, Paxton and Beckett Puskas, and Benny and Chance Baggett; a sister, Becky Dykins (Casey) of Daisytown; a brother, John Puskas of Brookville, Ohio; former wife, Lori Sawicky; his beloved dog, Penny; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased is a sister, Pat Yusko; and two of his best hunting dogs, Sally and Aldo. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the time of funeral services, Monday, January 22, in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, Ltd., 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, with Pastor Justin Silvers officiating. Interment will follow in Horn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Ten Mile Creek Trout Stocking, c/o Ozie's Sport Shop, P.O. Box 101, Rices Landing, PA 15357.
