With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Brookman Rand a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, uncle and cherished friend.
He was the beloved husband of Judith Rand, and the loving father of Nicolette Rand. He was also a proud father-in-law to Darwing, with whom he shared great respect and family closeness. His greatest joy was being "Grandpa" to Braylen, Darwing Emanuel, and Cristian, who brought him endless pride and happiness.
Known for his goofiness and playful spirit, he loved making others laugh and had a special passion for Halloween, his favorite holiday. He was the light of the day for everyone around him, always ready with a joke and a smile.
A proud United States Navy veteran, he served his country with honor. He continued his life of service as both a cook, sharing his love through food, and as an EMT, offering care and compassion to those in need. He was well known for his Pizza that he proudly served at the Indian River Inn.
Above all, he was a man defined by laughter, love, and service. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of his wife, daughter, son-in-law, grandchildren, his best friends Keith Estes, Kenneth Button, Charlie and all who were lucky enough to know him.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend burial services on October 8, 2025 11:30AM, at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, Connery Ave, Buzzards Bay, MA 02542.
