Maria-Elisa Rand

Maria-Elisa Rand (Lisa Rand), age 72, died on January 1, 2026, after enduring a long and painful struggle with dystonia. She leaves behind her daughter Christine Rand and husband Robert Rand, as well as a brother Robert Regitano and two nieces, Jessica and Catherine Regitano. She was predeceased by her father Peter Regitano, her mother Elizabeth (DeGuglielmo) Regitano, and brother Peter Regitano. Lisa graduated with a bachelor's degree from Syracuse University. She worked several years for the federal government at the Office of Personal Management (OPM) and later at the Defense Nuclear Agency (DNA). Upon becoming a mother, Lisa retired from Federal service to devote herself to family. They enjoyed her playful nature and witty sense of humor. Even more so, they knew her thoughtfulness and generous spirit. She had a talent for creating fun and organizing exciting activities for children at home and outside the home. She loved and was deeply loved by her family and friends. Though she will be dearly missed, her spirit will live on in our hearts.
