Robert Rasmussen Obituary
Razz passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love and warmth of his wife and daughters on July 22, 2023, at the age of 75. Beloved husband of Sandra (nee Winters) Rasmussen. Loving dad of Kimberly Rasmussen and Jennifer (Clay) Hassler. Proud grandpa of Nicholas Hassler and Jessica Hassler. Dear brother of Patricia Peterson, Jean (Mike) Muckian, Jack Rasmussen, Kathy Valerius, Karen (John) Smith, Terri Baer, Linda (Kevin) Mulhern, Tom (Daniele) Rasmussen and Scott Rasmussen. Dear brother-in-law of Charlotte (the late Jack) Zader. Also remembered by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Razz was preceded in death by his parents, Norbert and Frances Rasmussen.
Razz retired from UPS in 2005 after 35 years of service. Razz was adored by everyone he met, even if it was a brief encounter, he was able to make a lasting impression. Razz's hobbies included traveling with his family and friends, cruising the world, and meeting new friends wherever he went. He was also an avid fan of all things sports, and truly loved to spend time "just collecting his thoughts". Razz's true passion was the Wisconsin State Fair. He was in attendance everyday of every year without fail. In retirement, Razz spent some of his spare time working at Penske keeping up with his love of driving and spending time with others. We were all blessed to be a part of his world and we will miss his smiling face and his witty one-liners.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 1, at ST. JOHN NEUMANN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2400 WI-59, Waukesha, from 2-4:15 PM, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 4:30 PM.
After Mass, please join the family at Fuzzy's Southside Pub and Grill (West), 1726 S. West Ave., Waukesha, for food, fellowship and fun in honor of Razz.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family to be used to honor Razz's favorite charities.

Dear Sandy and Family Members: I am so sorry for this premature loss of Bob at a time he was truly trying to enjoy retirement. I can understand your family is grieving in many ways and this loss hits you all very hard. I hope the support and care of your family and friends brings you some solace during this difficult time. So sorry for your loss, Sandy & family. I so enjoyed bowling 18 years on Razz's Couples, and multiple pig roast parties in his back yard. He always had a smile on his face. May he rest in peace.
