Rev. Robert "Bob" Rathbun

Funeral services for Rev. Robert "Bob" Rathbun, age 86, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at Minton Chapel with Pastor Dale Wilkerson and Rev. E.A. Dowd officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Rev. Rathbun was born on June 21, 1938, in Waterford, Connecticut. He was born to the late Leo Conway and Roberta Rathbun Brown. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and graduated from seminary school. He served several churches in Treutlen and Johnson County, including Powells Chapel, Moore's Chapel, Holton Chapel and Minton Chapel where he was a member. For many years he owned his own catering business, R & R Catering, and was a bus driver for Johnson County. He was preceded in death by his son, Brian Scott Rathbun. Rev. Rathbun passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Memorial Health University of Savannah.
He is survived by his wife, Pam Rathbun; 2 sons, Adam Wade Rathbun and Ryan Lee Rathbun; 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. to 10:45 A.M. on Wednesday at the church prior to the service.
