Robert Ray Obituary
Robert Irvin Ray, 78, of Moulton, Alabama passed away Sunday, June 29, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his loved ones. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Thursday, July 03, 2025, at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Darren Sparks officiating. Burial will be at Moulton Memory Gardens.
Born on February 22, 1947, to Homer and Ethel King Ray. Robert enjoyed spending his time outdoors, sharing his love of hunting, fishing, camping, and boating with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Dialla Ray; sons, Eric (Katrina) Ray, Stacy (Joanna) Ray, and Chad (Rebecca) Ray; grandchildren, Katie (Eric) Milford, Tollar Ray, Luke Ray, Matthew (Kaylee) Ray, Summer Ray, Cameron Ray, Madison Ray, Jordan Brewer, and Sunny Moore; great-grandchildren, Emery Ray, Stella Milford, Silas Milford, Braelyn Milford, Taegan Milford, and Nash Sutton; brother, Edward (Judy) Ray; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Ethel Ray; brothers, Eugene Ray, Paul Ray, and James Ray; sister, Mildred Hardin.
Pallbearers will be Luke Ray, Matthew Ray, Cameron Ray, Jordan Brewer, Jason Harville, and Tom Pace.
Honorary Pallbearers are his longtime friends, Bobby Hagood and Bobby Dye.
The family extends special thanks to Hospice of the Valley.
