Robert McArthur Reed was born to Henry and Nellie Reed on January 1st, 1945. Robert passed away peacefully with his beloved wife by his side on February 21st, 2026.
Robert lived a full and long life with his wife of 50 years beside his side. Shirley and Robert were soulmates and loved each other from the day they met at her uncle’s home.
Robert enjoyed fishing and would often go fishing with Shirley anywhere they could find to fish at. They enjoyed catching catfish together.
Robert was a good man who loved his dogs.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Nellie, Siblings, Lois Reed, Charlie Reed, Grady Reed, Virgil Reed, Thomas Reed, Dewey Reed, Clyde Reed, and Jean Shirley.
Robert is survived by his cherished wife of 50 years, Shirley Reed, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
