Robert "Rob" Gordon Reed, 48, of La Porte, IN, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at Brickyard Healthcare-Terrace Care Center.
He was born on June 26, 1977, in La Porte, IN, to Richard E. Reed and and Rhonda J. (Smith) Reed-Henrichs.
Rob is survived are his 2 daughters, Kaytlyn Reed of Rolling Prairie and Alexandra Reed of Michigan City; 2 grandsons, Maverick and Adam Reed; brother, Richard "Rick" Reed II of New Carlisle; and niece, Molly Reed of Fort Collins, CO.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Rob worked as a carpenter. He enjoyed motorcycles, mud bogs, and spending time with his friends.
Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Gathering will be held from 12 p.m. - 10 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Fish Lake American Legion Post 400, 302 Lakeside Dr, Walkerton, IN 46574 with dinner at 4 p.m. and a toast at 6 p.m.
