Robert Renew Obituary
Bob served in the United Stated Navy during WWII and retired after 37 years from Pet Milk. After retirement, he went on to work for Riverbanks Zoo for another 11 years.
He was a long-time devoted member of Ridgeway First Baptist Church.
Bob is survived by his wife, Mildred Hollis Renew, as well as, many loving church members, friends, and neighbors.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 Am Monday, September 16, 2024, at the Memorial Gardens of Columbia, Wilson Road in Columbia, SC. The family will receive friends after the service by the graveside.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent in Bob's memory to Ridgeway First Baptist Church.

Mildred, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. "Bobby" Renew was a wonderful human being and was one of 4 special Renew brothers James, Lee, Louis and Bobby. They were my Uncles and were very special to me and our family. I am Alice and Georges son, Michael Serbousek. Bobby, James and my Dad took me fishing as a child in South Carolina and taught me how to fish. We spent wonderful times on the Santee River and Santee Cooper reservoir and at their Lake Murray places. It inspired our family to eventually purchase our own lake place on Lake Gaston in southern Virginia. I have been a lifelong fisherman on Lakes and in the Oceans. Thank you Bobby and Mildred and the Renew brothers and Aunts for all the wonderful memories you provided to me growing up. I love and miss you all! Michael Serbousek
