Robert Renz, age 43, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, October 27, 2024, in El Paso, Texas. He was a wonderful son, brother, husband and father and will be greatly missed. Robert is survived by his parents; Paul and Gloria Renz; his loving wife; Elaine Renz; his dearest children; Anthony Renz, Sofia Renz and Joef Cerrado; and his brothers; Marty Renz and Julio Renz. He is also survived by many extended friends and family to cherish and honor his memory.
Retired CPT. Renz served Honorably and in the U.S. Army and received the following medals. Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal (3rd Award), Army Achievement Medal (3rd Award), Meritorious Unit Commendation, Army Superior Unit Award, National Defense Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal with 2 Campaign Stars, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korea Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (3rd Award) and Military Volunteer Service Medal.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, November 01, 2024 at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the VFW.
