Robert "Bob" Louis Ringenberg, 77, passed away on Monday, January 2, 2023. He was born in Louisville, KY on January 21, 1945 to the late Jess and Louise Ringenberg.
Bob worked at Sears as a Service Technician for 35 years. He was a longtime member of St. Athanasius Catholic Church, a proud member of the Louisville Elk's Lodge #8 Past ER, and a member of the Shady Glen Club. Bob was also an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers and the University of Kentucky.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 56 years, Marilyn Heckel Ringenberg; children, Jenny Faught (James), Mary (Norm), and Rob (Heather); grandchildren, Darren, Jess; Mason Faught, Tim Nichols (Ashley), Chris, Zachary, and Emily Weaver; brother, Arthur, Sr. (Phyllis); and brother-in-law, Mark Heckel (Beth).
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Monday, January 9, 2023, at St. Athanasius Catholic Church, 5915 Outer Loop, followed by interment in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 - 7:00 PM on Sunday, January 8, at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Rd.
There will be a Celebration of Life at the Elk's Lodge, 2824 Klondike Lane, immediately following the service and burial on Monday.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Elk's National Foundation.
