SIDNEY -- Robert C. Rogers, Jr., 57, of Sidney, passed away unexpectedly at 10:04 p.m. Monday, December 26, 2022 at his residence. He was born February 1, 1965 in Piqua to the late Robert C. and Patricia (Philips) Rogers, Sr.
Survivors include four children, Chris (Sheena Scott) Rogers of Piqua, Tom (Jennifer) Rogers of Troy, Ashley Rogers of Piqua, Austin Rogers of Piqua; four grandchildren, Evan, Aubree, Ashlyn, Hayden; and a brother, Mark (Karen) Rogers of Covington. He was preceded in death by a sister, Michael Xavier Hall; and a granddaughter, Lydia Rogers.
Mr. Rogers was a graduate of Piqua High School and attended Sinclair Community College. He served proudly in the United States Navy. He will be remembered as a social man who enjoyed connecting with family and friends over social media as well as frequent visits to his many friends he made over the last twenty years at SafeHaven. He enjoyed meeting and talking to new people. He was friendly and never met a stranger.
A private service to honor his life will be held at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are being provided to the family through the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to SafeHaven Mission, 633 N. Wayne St. Piqua, OH 45356 or by visiting SafeHaven's website and making a donation of food and/or supplies.
