Robert C. Rosenbaum was born in Rosenberg, Texas on June 17, 1941, to the late Lelar Roberta (Sims) and Lonnie Rosenbaum. He 1941, joined God's farm and ranch angels August 10, 2025. Robert was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, East Bernard, TX. He is survived by his loving and supportive wife of 61 years, Evelyn Balcerowicz Rosenbaum; son Chris Rosenbaum of Rosenberg; son Ross Rosenbaum and wife Shalyn of San Tan Valley, AZ; grandson Ethan Rosenbaum of AZ; granddaughter Lahna Rosenbaum of AZ; nephew Fred Rosenbaum. He was preceded in death by brother Paul Rosenbaum, niece Karen Rosenbaum McBride. Robert graduated from Sam Houston University and began work with Uncle Ben's Rice. He began farming cotton, milo, corn, and even wheat. He also did custom harvesting relaying on the new cell phones. Robert served as the director of Beasley Farmers' Gin Company. In addition, he began teaching various Science subjects at Hungerford High School, Hungerford, Texas and Wharton High School, Wharton, Texas. Robert enjoyed success as a Little League baseball coach for his sons in East Bernard, Texas. He enjoyed gaming and was a fierce domino player, and pool shark. Friends will recall many delicious fish fries, chili dinner, and barbecues with card playing. Robert enjoyed traveling, mostly driving, to many U.S states, esp. Alaska and Canada and Caribbean Resorts. He always included fishing on trips! He was an avid hunter of deer, elk, and waterfowl. Robert also enjoyed saltwater fishing, fresh water, and salmon fishing in various states, Canada, and the Bahamas. Robert's life was full of medical challenges which he met with resolve and strength of spirit. He and Evelyn dealt with each and with God's help, moved forward in life.
