Robert Rossiello Obituary
On January 30, 2023, Robert V. Rossiello, loving, and much-loved, son, brother, uncle, and partner, passed away at the age of 58.
Rob was born to Janet (Bush) Rossiello and Robert M. Rossiello in Broomall, PA, on May 21, 1964. He graduated from West Chester University and pursued his passion for art and design at Art Institute of Philadelphia.
Rob had several careers. Most recently, he was fortunate to be a key member of a team that publishes magazines and online news for the gaming industry, as a designer, webmaster, and video editor.
Inspired by all things creative, Rob read widely and was a skilled writer, visual artist, and photographer. Rob enjoyed travel as well as time at home gardening, cooking, and adding his talent to home improvements.
For many years, he contributed time to and displayed his art as part of the Atlantic City Arts Foundation in New Jersey. He combined his talent with a commitment to the environment in a piece called Recycled Reefs that was constructed from trash plastic and cans collected from the beaches. His passion for the arts also included mentoring to kids as well as teaching young adults.
Rob cared deeply for his family, friends, and colleagues. He was preceded in death by his mother, Janet. He is survived by his partner, Laura Chinnis, his father, Robert Rossiello, his sister, Lisa Bainbridge, and her husband, Bill Bainbridge, his brother, Michael Rossiello, and his wife, Laura Rossiello, nieces and nephews, Jennifer Bainbridge Cassell, Kristin Bainbridge Andrechik, Ryan Bainbridge, Erica Rossiello, and Dominic Rossiello, and a host of long-time friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 9:30-11:00 AM Saturday, February 11, 2023 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA followed by his Funeral Service 11:00 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105, www.stjude.org/donate/
