Robert Bruce Roth

Robert Bruce Roth, age 78, of Sacramento, California, passed away on February 20, 2026, in Sacramento surrounded by his family.

Born on April 9, 1947 in Sacramento to Robert and Louise Roth. He attended San Francisco State and McGeorge School of Law and pursued a career in Family Law. On August 30,1969, Bob married his high school sweetheart Patty Geremia, and together they raised three daughters.

Bob was known for his love of fly fishing, stamp collecting and all things rock and roll. He was a life-long learner and continued to take courses on history and was part of the Sac State Renaissance Society. Bob approached life with a gentle, kind spirit and a wicked sense of humor. His greatest joy was traveling with his wife and spending time with his grandchildren.

Bob is survived by his spouse Patricia, his three daughters Jennifer Lippi (Christopher), Caroline White (Ken), Katie Shelton (Jason) and five grandchildren Charlotte, Audrey, Connor, Cooper and Phoebe. They were preceded in death by his parents Robert and Louise and sister Maryanne Harbaugh.

A Memorial Service will be held on March 13, 2026 at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Church, 1040 39th Street, in Sacramento. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Sacramento Children’s Receiving Home. Reception to follow at the Dante Club.
