Robert "Bob" Earl Roth, 84, passed suddenly yet peacefully on Friday, Sept. 3, 2021. He was born March 30, 1937, in Wauseon to the late Florence L. and Earl J. Roth of Archbold.
Bob was a professor of Environmental Education in the School of Environment and Natural Resources at Ohio State University, where he was associate director from 1994 until retirement in 2001 when "Emeritus" faculty status was granted. He played baritone in the OSU TBDBITL Alumni Marching Band since 1971.
Bob will be missed by his beloved wife Carol of more than 62 years; son,Robin Earl (Jane P.) Roth; grandchildren, Daniel H. Roth and Mary L. Roth; son, Bruce Robert (Kelly A.) Roth; and grandchildren, Kory C. Roth, Alexander R. Roth, and Sarah A. Roth.
Service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Wauseon.

I met Bob a few years ago when he and Carol joined Trinity (downtown Columbus) He will be greatly missed. I always enjoyed his stories of his work as an environmental educator and his many contributions to Bible and book studies.
