Robert "Bobby" Roy

Robert "Bobby" Roy, 59 of Peabody, MA passed away peacefully on January 6, 2026, with his loving family by his side.
Born in Salem on April 27, 1966, he was the son of the late Philip Roy and Kathleen M. (Harkins) Roy and was lovingly raised by his step father John Bullerwell.
Robert is Survived by his three daughters and one Son, Krystle Roy and her partner Alex Sabanty and their daughter Elodie, Robert Roy, Kassidy Roy and Katrina Roy. He is also survived by their mother Donna (Crane) Roy with whom he shared 25 years of marriage, his sisters Heidi Roy and Kimberly (Roy) Panopoulos and her husband George. He shared many cherished years with his partner Michele Lougee. He leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
Raised in Peabody, Bobby served as the Vice President of his graduating class of 1986 at Peabody Vocational High School. Bobby was employed by Essex Seamless Gutters and Reynolds Gutters installing gutters for many years. Bobby demonstrated an unwavering commitment to his career, working diligently for over 40 years. Whether Bobby was installing gutters or doing carpentry work, he worked hard and was always willing to lend a hand to friends and family.
An avid New England Sports Fan, Bobby could always be counted on for a passionate game-day rant, a quick-witted comment, or a wisecrack that everyone secretly waited for. His sense of humor, loyalty, and unmistakable presence made him unforgettable to all who knew him.
Bobby will be remembered for his big heart, quick smile, and the unwavering love he had for his family.
His legacy will Live on through the stories he told, the memories he created, and the people he touched. He will be deeply missed.
