Robert Joseph Runstrom

Robert Joseph Runstrom, age 55, of Hessel, Michigan, died at his home on April 4, 2023. He was born in Denver, Colorado, on November 22, 1968, to Fred L. And Sally A. Runstrom.
Robert was always an easy-going and good-natured man. He had a free spirit and a good attitude. He loved helping others and spending time with his family. He enjoyed music, electronics, relaxing by the water or a fire, and camping. He was a friend to all and was always there if you needed him. He will be dearly missed.
Robert is survived by his brothers, James (Paula) Runstrom, Jerry (Brenda) Runstrom, and Bryan (Tracy) Runstrom: sister, Regina (Matthew) Hickman; nephews, Tyler, Brandon, James Jr. (Holly), Alec, Jonathan, Mezziah, and Jayden; nieces, Molly (Jordan), Mabel (Justin), Jessica, Allison, Sophia, and Ashley; and several beloved aunts and uncles.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Sally.
Visitation will be held on April 7, 2023, from 1:00 PM till 2:30 PM at Galer Dodson Funeral Home, at the new location at 999 S. State St., St. Ignace, MI 49781. Funeral Service will follow at 2:30 PM. A luncheon will take place following services.
Burial will be at Lodi Cemetery in Orange Township, Michigan, at a later date.
