Robert M. Rysso

Robert Michael Rysso, 83, a resident of Grayslake, IL, passed away on August 17, 2025 at Alto Grayslake. He was born November 8, 1941, in Ishpeming, MI to Arnold and Lucille Rysso.
Robert enjoyed 30 years of retirement which he spent most of the time at their house on the lake in the upper peninsula of Michigan. In a town named Channgin. He sure loved to fish!
Robert is survived by his children Michael (Kirsten) Rysso of MN and Linda Rysso of Grayslake, IL, his grandchildren Lauren of Los Angeles, Morgan of Los Angeles, Neil (Monica) Chattin of OH, and Joey Labarbera of TN, his great-grandchildren Alana and Alaya, and his siblings Ernie (Gail) Rysso of FL and Ken (Barb) Rysso of MI. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Carol.
A visitation is scheduled for Friday August 29, 2025, at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030 from 3:00pm until 7:00pm. The funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 10:00am at the funeral chapel. The interment will follow the service at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery in Libertyville, IL.
