Robert W. Sadler

Robert W. Sadler, age 78, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family.

He was the devoted husband of 58 years to Linda (nee Kashmier) and the loving father of Laura Lukasik (nee Sadler) and her husband Aaron, and of Dustin Sadler and his wife Marcie.

Cherished grandfather of Breana, Andrew, Patrick, Maya, Samantha, Everitt, and Skylar, Robert took great pride and joy in his family. He was the proud son of the late Robert and Lillian (nee Borchard) Sadler, and a fond uncle to many nieces and nephews. He will also be remembered for the special bond he shared with his best companion, his dog Wrigley.

Robert honorably served his country as a United States Marine Corps veteran and later dedicated his career to protecting his community as a member of the Chicago Police Department, from which he retired with pride.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Robert's life during visitation on Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home, 9000 W. 151st Street, Orland Park, Illinois.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Entombment will follow at Good Shepherd Mausoleum, 16201 S. 104th Avenue, Orland Park, Illinois.
