Robert Salas Obituary
Robert was a loving best friend, husband, and father, known for his positivity, happiness, and strong work ethic. As a chef, he found great passion in cooking for the community where he opened Bobby's Place Comida Mexicana in Floresville. He dedicated much of his time volunteering for youth Texas Stampede basketball for three years as well as football leagues and baseball in Floresville.
As we say goodbye to a true Dallas Cowboys enthusiast, he was a cowboy fan to the core! Robert built a successful career in New York Life as an agent and continued as a financial rep at Red McCombs Ford dealership.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Cruz and Hilda W. Diaz, maternal grandparents Jesse and Elda Gaytan, and his mother Diana Gaytan Salas. Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife, Connie Salas; his son Daniel Morrissey Salas; his daughters Brookyln Rose Salas and Trinity Presley Salas; His father Robert Salas Sr; and his sister Dedra Marie Salas.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1009 Trail St, Floresville, TX 78114 beginning with visitation at 10:00 AM, Holy Rosary at 11:00 AM, and Funeral Mass at 11:30 AM. Interment will follow at the Floresville City Cemetery.
