Robert Louis Salts (79) was born on June 24, 1944 in Fort Madison, Iowa and passed away on January 5, 2024 in Conroe, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Francis Salts, Helen Scott, son in law Danny and niece Peggy.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years in marriage Kathy Salts. Children-Stacey Salts and husband Eddie, Rhonda White and husband Paul, Sam Salts and wife Jessica, Kerri Bowman and husband Michael and Robert Salts and wife Angela. Grandchildren(15)-Raelynn and husband KC, Calvin and wife Haeven, Chelsea and husband Travis, Cheyenne and husband Garrett, Dakota, Braden, Kaelin, Cali, Caleb, Alyssa, Bella, Westyn, Kolton, Lacey and Lincoln. Great grandchildren(11)-Kayleigh, Kendra, Mikah, Kaine, Logan, Lawson, Riley, Grayson, Adelyn, Addison, and Kayce. One sister, Mary Ann Smith.
Bob was a hardworking and loving husband and father and a devoted and caring Poppy. He worked as a sand blaster for Brown and Root Company for over 30 years, and after retiring spent his time doing things he loved with his grandchildren. He had a huge heart for his dogs. He enjoyed a good western, old country music and his motorcycle. He always had the biggest smile and was a joy to any one he met. He will be deeply missed by everyone.
