Robert Sandoval, 60, was born on August 9, 1963 in Eagle Pass, Texas and entered eternal rest on March 4, 2024 in Houston, Texas. He was one of 8 children born to Lilia and Mauro Sandoval Sr. Robert was a man of faith and had a strong belief in Jesus Christ, the Father, and the Holy Spirit. Robert graduated from Austin High School in Houston, Texas. He had a passion for playing the drums since the age of 12. Robert was a musician and could play by ear. He could also play the electric and acoustic guitar. Robert formed a band with his brother Noe called the SRS band in his youth. Later he joined the Rhythm and Blues band called Zazzy led by Pete Gomez. Robert was also an entrepreneur since the age of 19. He later became a Real Estate Investor and managed an index fund. Robert held a Real Estate Brokerage license and was also a Notary Public. He was very patriotic and believed the United States of America is the greatest country in the world. Robert loved to travel, especially to Europe. He hated to fly but would make the exception for international flights. Robert and his wife Magda enjoyed many cruises and visited exotic resorts. He believed in investing in experiences as opposed to material things. Experiences last a lifetime. Robert and his wife Magda climbed Guadalupe Peak which is the highest natural point in Texas, with an elevation of 8751 feet above sea level. They also climbed El Capitan, the 8th highest peak in Texas. They also went on a cross country trip to San Francisco to see this beautiful country of ours. Robert had many amazing experiences and his wife Magda is grateful to have been by his side. Robert is preceded in death by his twin Oscar who died as a baby, his oldest brother Mauro Sandoval, Jr., and his oldest sister, Sonia Guevara. He is survived by his loving wife, Magda Davila; and his other siblings, Alma, Noe, Hector, Aracely, and Hervey. Robert will be dearly missed by all those who shared wonderful memories with him.
