Mark William Beeghly, 75, passed away March 18, 2026 at Journey Home in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, surrounded by his family, following a brief illness.

Mark was born September 6, 1950 to Mary Rae Rogers Beeghly and Bert Eugene Beeghly in Manhattan, Kansas where his dad was attending Kansas State University. His family moved to Dewey, Oklahoma when he was a young child, and he graduated Dewey High School in 1968. Mark attended Oklahoma State University and graduated in 1972 with a degree in business administration.

Following graduation, he married Teresa Griffin. They made their home in Colorado and had two children, Allison Beeghly Cates and the late Eric William Beeghly.

After living in Colorado, then Tulsa, for many years, he returned to Bartlesville to be closer to his twin sisters. Mark enjoyed many outdoor activities, cut throat family corn hole tournaments, and was a loyal Chicago Cubs fan. In his later years, he really enjoyed volunteering with Meals on Wheels.

He is survived by his daughter, Allison Cates (Zach ) of Phoenix, AZ; two grandchildren, C.J. and Alexandra Cates of Phoenix; sister Vicki Beeghly Rieke (Michael) of Houston, TX; twin sisters, Jeannette Beeghly Peabody (Bruce) and Jennifer Beeghly Herren (Randy) of Bartlesville; nephews Noah Rieke of Los Angeles, CA, and Hank Herren of Norman, OK; and nieces Lindsay Peabody Rogers (Bryan) of Oklahoma City and Abby Herren of Oklahoma City.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son Eric.

No memorial service is planned at this time.
