Robert James Schalow, age 87, passed away on March 16, 2025.
Robert was born in Wausau, WI to Lawrence Schalow and Katherine Knoblock. Robert married Verna Mae Schalow of Wausau, Wisconsin on August 30th, 1962 at Trinity Lutheran in Wausau, WI.
Robert was a Vet who served our country in the United States Army stationed at Fort Lee, Virginia. After his service in the Army he came back to Wisconsin and was employed by Lotz Sand & Gravel and then later became employed by and retired from the Wausau City of Public Works Department.
Robert is survived by his wife Verna (Wendt) Schalow, his son Dean (Maria) Schalow

He was preceded in death by Lawrence Schalow (Father), Katherine Knoblock (Mother), William Knoblock (Step Father), Clark Schalow (Son), Alfred Wendt (Father in Law), Helen Wendt (Mother in Law), Lyle Wendt (Brother in Law), Phyllis Venner (Sister in Law), Kenneth Wendt (Nephew)
A short Visitation will be held on Saturday March 29th, 2025 from 1:00 pm to 3:00pm at Helke's Funeral Home located at 302 Spruce Street, Wausau, WI
