Robert Schlottke, age 64, of Eugene, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Robert was born on November 29, 1961, in Minneapolis, MN, a son to the late Wesley and Carol (Ziegler) Schlottke.
He was a 1979 graduate of Herculaneum High School in St. Louis.
Robert was employed as a union carpenter and surveyor. He was mainly known as a “jack of all trades”.
He enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, coin collecting, watching westerns and war movies, learning about history and was a mathematician. His greatest enjoyment came from spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Robert is survived by: his companion for 17 years, Theresa Birdsong of Eugene; five children, Josh Schlottke of Linn, Cody Schlottke of Clarksburg, Wesley Schlottke of St. Elizabeth, Josh Birdsong of Eugene and Rebecca Birdsong of Columbia; ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren; one brother, Richard (Jill) Schlottke; three sisters, Sherry (Kelly) Radunz, Rhonda (Jeff) Minken, and Deborah (Mark) Linder; along with many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his spouse, Tammy Darlene Warren and a sister, Corrine Smith.
Graveside service will be held at Noon on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Linn Public Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the family of Robert Schlottke.
