Robert Schneider Obituary
Robert was born in Moorhead, Minnesota on November 9, 1960. He was a 20+ year member of Sheet Metal Local Union 399 and was an avid golfer. Robert enjoyed being outdoors, spending time with his family, playing golf on Saturday mornings, and watching NASCAR on Sunday afternoons. Robert was a hard worker and a kind soul who would have given anyone the shirt off his back. Robert inspired to travel and farm as he did in his young days, once he retired.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Schneider; daughter, Brittany Poole (Justin); his beloved grandson, Grayson Poole; mother, Delores Schneider; sisters: Doreen Olson (Mark), Deanna Gadberry (Jim), Shelly Riepe (Tom), Jennifer White (David); brothers: Darwin Schneider, Rodney Schneider (Chesta); along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles. Robert was preceded in death by his father, Leo Schneider along with several aunts, uncles, and a nephew.
The family will receive friends from 2:00pm to 4:00pm on Saturday, July 27th, 2024 at Thomas Poteet and Sons at 214 Davis Road in Augusta, Georgia to say farewell to a distinctive man that was taken from this life far too soon. His memory will be forever cherished and his presence will be sorely missed.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to a local non-profit animal rescue and/or the Alzheimer's Association.
