Robert A. "Bob" Schultz

Robert "Bob" Schultz, age 60, passed away on January 31, 2026, after a brief illness. He was born and raised in Iowa where he grew his humble, down-to-earth roots that he carried throughout his life. He was an avid diver, outdoor enthusiast, traveler, and a passionate supporter of children's medical foundations, that reflected his adventurous spirit and generous heart. Bob retired from Microchip after 29 years.

Bob was preceded in death by his mother and father, is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, his sister and brother-in-law, two nieces, and a nephew.

The family will host an informal open-house remembrance to be held Wednesday, February 11, from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Home, 1374 N. Arizona Ave., Chandler, Arizona, where family and friends are invited to gather and share their favorite memories of Bob (cards will be provided).

The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to one of the following charities in Bob's memory: Phoenix Children's Foundation, AZ Heart Foundation, or the National Kidney Foundation.
