Robert A. "Bob" Schumacher

Robert "Bob" A. Schumacher, 56, of Watertown, passed away unexpectedly Monday, March 23, 2026.

Robert "Bob" Allen Schumacher was born January 21, 1970, in Watertown, the son of Bob and Vicki (nee Firkus) Schumacher. He graduated from Watertown High School in 1988. Bob was employed at Watertown Metals until its closing. He later worked at Opportunities Inc.

Bob found great joy in his hobbies and the camaraderie they brought. An avid PC gamer, he cherished the time spent online with his friends. In his spare time, Bob enjoyed trapshooting. Bob's appreciation for history was a cornerstone of his life, specifically the historic planes of WWII.

Bob is survived by his mother, Vicki (Tom Funk) Schumacher; uncle, Francis (Theresa) Firkus; aunt, Pat Reising; best friends, Ray Tessman and Pat Warren; as well as other relatives and friends.

Bob is preceded in death by his father, Bob Schumacher; grandparents, Cora and Roy Hoth, Onufry and Julia Firkus, and Robert Schumacher; aunts and uncles, Herman (Jane) Firkus, Jerome (Judy) Firkus, Pete Firkus, Bob (Marion) Firkus, Humphrey (Becky) Firkus, and Jane Firkus.
