Robert (Terry) Terrence Scott, age 81, passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2023
“Trust the past to the mercy of God, the present to His Love, and the Future to His Divine Providence”, Saint Augustine.
Terry was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on October 31, 1942. He proudly served in the United States Army before meeting the love of his life, MaryAnn Lesco, whom he married in June 1966 in Albuquerque, NM.
Terry owned and operated Total Protection Car Detail Center in the El Paso Community for over 20 years, and happily completed the remainder of is career at the Root Candle Company. He was a devoted husband and father who loved his family and his Catholic Faith.
Terry was preceded in death by his wife Maryann and his son Robert Scott Jr. He is survived by his daughter Theresa, daughter in law Romy, seven grandchildren (MaryAnn, Kateri, Timothy, Dakota, Kelsey, Lilly, and Riley) and two great grandchildren (Marco and David).
Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 PM, with Rosary at 6:00 PM on Monday, September 25, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Homes- Northeast 4631 Hondo Pass. Funeral Mass will take place at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at Jesus & Mary Catholic Church 1401 Yandell. Committal Service will follow at 1:30 PM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
