Robert Joseph Seither, beloved husband of Terry Ann Barker for 52 years. Loving father of Joseph Seither & Rosemary Seither, and father-in-law to Josephs wife, Vicki Seither. Devoted grandfather of Ryan Seither Howard, Matthew March, Isabella Seither, and Parker Seither. He passed away at his home in Cincinnati, Ohio, on Monday, June 17, 2024, at the age of 76. Born on April 26, 1948, Bob was the beloved son of Edward and Ruth Seither. Bob graduated from Purcell High School in 1966 and pursued further education in trade school, becoming a Tool & Dye Specialist. He was highly respected in his field and proudly worked at the Batavia Ford plant for over 35 years.
Bob and Terry's great love story and bond began after a short period of dating that led to their marriage on April 22, 1972. Their commitment to one another was a testament to love and dedication. They were rarely ever seen apart. A man of many talents, Bob was an exceptional woodworker, artist, and photographer. He enjoyed a variety of hobbies, including boating, fishing, and collecting trains, which occupied half of his basement in an impressive display. Bob also loved bowling and was an enthusiastic baseball player in his youth. His cooking and baking skills brought joy to his family and friends. Bob coached many of Joe's baseball teams and served as an usher at Immaculate Heart of Mary (IHM) Church, where he and Terry were parishioners for over 50 years. Bob was also an active member of several train clubs. Bob was known for his ability to fix anything around the house and his passion for woodworking, most recently crafting cornhole boards for friends and family. His caring nature made him a beloved figure to all who knew him. He was a "gentle giant," always ready to support his children, whether attending Joe's swim meets or Rosie's swimming and bowling events. Bob will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband and father who would do anything for his family. His hardworking spirit and dedication to his loved ones left a mark on everyone he encountered. Visitation will be held at 9:00 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, located at 7820 Beechmont Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45255, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM, & a luncheon at 11:00 AM. Bob's legacy of love, dedication, and craftsmanship will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
