Robert "Bob" Sekscinski, 82, passed away Tuesday morning, January 27, 2026.

Born February 10, 1943, in New Kensington, Pennsylvania, Bob was a proud graduate of New Kensington High School. After graduating, he served his country as a member of the United States Army and Army Reserves until 1968.

Bob was an accomplished union carpenter and master craftsman whose skill and dedication were evident in everything he built-from public infrastructure projects to the family home he lovingly constructed in Butler, Pennsylvania. His work ethic, attention to detail, and pride in his craft defined much of his life.

After retiring, Bob relocated to Oregon, first settling in Salem and later in Dallas, where he lived with his wife of nearly 50 years, Susan (Erdly) Sekscinski. Together they built a life centered on family, hard work, and quiet joys.

Bob enjoyed watching football, go Steelers, listening to country music, tending his garden, and, most of all, spending time with his grandchildren. He was happiest when surrounded by family, sharing stories, laughter, and the results of a lifetime of skillful hands and steady dedication.

He is survived by his wife, Susan; his daughters Sandra Stryker, Christine Jones, Kelly McGovern; and his grandchildren Adena Shea Loomis, Sophia Ruger, Luke Loomis, Jayla Clowers-Jones, Sawyer Jones, and Juliet Jones.

Bob will be remembered for his craftsmanship, loyalty to family, and the solid foundations-both literal and figurative-that he built throughout his life.
