Robert M. Selph Sr “ FROG”
Robert M. Selph Sr aka FROG,73 passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on September 27, 2023. Frog was born to William and Francis Selph in Farmington, New Mexico. He grew up in San Juan County and meet his love of his life Patrica Garcia, they were married for 55 years.
Frog retired from PNM and the carpenter/labor’s union. He continued to do construction and cement work up until last year. Frog was known to play a lot of slots at the casino. Loved to spend time with his family.
Frog was proceeded in death by his parents William and Francis Selph.
Frog is survived by his loving wife Patricia Selph and his children, Evette (Drew) Watson, Patti (Anthony) Garcia, Robert Selph/Samantha Romero, Daryl (Celeste) Selph, and Cheryl (Lucas) Montoya. Frog is also survived by his siblings Rudy (Sherry) Selph, Billy Selph, Dorothy (Gerald) Rodriguez, Nancy (Mike) Archibeque, Fran (Raynell) Armenta, and John Selph/Alicia Swiful.
Frog loved to be with his 17 grandchildren, Xavier Bergtholdt, Brianna (Jacob) Bengfort, Morgan (Cole) Tiller, Matt Martinez, Bryce Tiller, Isaiah R. Selph (Dorothy Tea), Jadian Garcia, Chasen Martinez, Keigan Selph, AJ Garcia, Keiona Selph, Clark Watson, Walker Watson, Augustina Selph, Elias R. Selph, and Penelope Selph. One great grandson Gavin Bengfort. Numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on October 3, 2023, at 6:30 pm Sacred Heart Catholic Church Farmington, NM with rosary to follow at 7 pm.
Funeral mass will be October 4, 2023, at 10:00 am Sacred Heart Catholic Church officiated by Father Jeff King, burial to follow mass at the Gobernador cemetery. The reception will also be in Gobernador at Santo Nino grounds.
Pallbearers: Jose E. Valdez, Matt Martinez, Isaiah R. Selph, Bryce Tiller, Chasen Martinez, AJ Garcia, Aaron Fernandez, and Elias R. Selph.
Honorary pallbearers: Xavier Bergtholdt, Daniel Dawes, Dustin Selph, and Walker Watson.
