Jack Bennett

Jack Bennett Jr. was born in Norwood, Colorado to Jack Bennett Sr. and Florence Roundtree, where he spent his childhood years ranching and working with his Grandparents. He was no stranger to hard work, spending his youth mining in Nevada and working on drill rigs across the country.

He moved back and forth; from Camp Verde, Arizona, to Norwood, Colorado and Aztec, New Mexico; always living near his family. Jack loved to play harder than he worked; fishing, arrowhead hunting, backroad driving, spending time with his grandkids, and bellying up with his friends at the local watering hole. If you knew Jack, he was very humorous and extremely crafty with his hands, always willing to lend a helping hand.

He was survived by his children Samantha (Bud Keenom), Syible (Reza Askari), as well as, 6 grandchildren, Jazmin (Wes Cody), Garrett, Logan (Krystan), Deegan, Olivia, Delilah and 1 great-grandchild (Patience) , and his best friend Bonnie the dog. He was also survived by the love of his life Peggy Bennett and his siblings Lane (Patty Bennett), Vlosta (Mark McCauley), Rebecca (Kenny Colbert), numerous nieces and nephews, and Uncle Fred.

Jack Bennett was preceded in death by his son Jermiha, his brothers Andy and Shane. His paternal father Jack Bennett Sr., mother Florence Roundtree, and stepfather Herman Roundtree. Grandparents Steve Sr. and Mildred Bennett, and Grandfather Claude Barrett Sr. Jack passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones. A celebration of life will be held in Redvale, Colorado at a later date.
