Robert James "Bob" Sisco ,79, of Blackwood, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2025, in Sewell, NJ. Born on January 9, 1946, in Newark, NJ, Bob spent his life rooted in the Garden State, living a life marked by dedication to his family and a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life.

Bob proudly enlisted in the United Staes Army in 1964 and was honorably discharged in 1968 after serving in Vietnam. His time in the military remained a significant chapter in his life.

Following his service, Bob began a long and steady career with NJ Bell-now Verizon-working as a splicer for over three decades. His commitment and strong work ethic were evident throughout his more than 30 years with the company until he retired at the age of 58.

Outside of work, Bob found joy in many hobbies that reflected both his curiosity and love for traditions. He was an avid surf fisherman and cherished annual August vacations with his daughters and grandson at Seaside Park, New Jersey-trips filled with sun-soaked days and laughter by the shore. He enjoyed cycling not only for fun but also participation in charity rides. A passionate gardener, Bob looked forward each year to Jersey tomatoes and pepper season, tending his garden with care and patience.

Bob had a fondness for reading The Philadelphia Inquirer and took pride in completing its crossword puzzles. His collections of vinyl records and coins spoke to his appreciation for history and nostalgia. He also enjoyed working on his vehicles-a hands-on hobby that brought him great satisfaction and pride.

Sundays held special meaning for Bob as he gathered with family for dinner, creating treasured traditions over the years. Whether tending his garden or planning family activities, he found meaning in the everyday moments shared with those closest to him.

Bob was predeceased by his parents, Raymond and Grace Sisco, and his brother Raymond Sisco.

Bob is survived by his daughters, Jeannette Sisco and Rosalie (Aaron) Bouchey; grandchildren Kyle (Tyler) Sisco, Lily Bouchey, and Colleen Bouchey; and longtime friend Christina Read. He was devoted to his children and he cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren. Bob was known by those closest to him as a sweet and kind man who deeply loved his family.

May Robert James "Bob" Sisco's memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved him, and may it continue to inspire love, strength, and togetherness among those he leaves behind. His presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of

knowing him.

As Bob would say, "Thanks for coming. See ya later."
