A TIME TO BE BORN
Robert Lee Small was born in Fort Valley, GA to Gladys Small on May 13, 1933. One of six children, he was the eldest of two boys.
A TIME TO LOVE
Robert married the love of his life, Bessie Mae Allen almost seven decades ago. He was a devoted husband, father, uncle, and grandfather (Papa). He is the father to Sharon Johnson Davis, Anthany Small and Kimberly Hill.
A TIME TO SERVE
Robert Small grew up in Davis Hill Baptist Church as a young boy and later in life assisted in founding Fellowship Temple of the Living God along with his wife and a dedicated group of leaders. He served faithfully for many years at Fellowship Temple as a deacon.
A TIME TO WORK
Mr. Rob worked for Blue Bird Body Company in Chassis Prep for 46 years.
A TIME TO DIE
Robert transitioned from earth to reward mid day of June 11, 2024 peacefully in his home in Warner Robins, GA.
A TIME TO MOURN
Robert leaves to cherish his memory: two devoted daughters, Sharon Johnson Davis (John); Warner Robins, GA; Kimberly Hill (Virgil); Warner Robins, GA; a devoted son, Anthany Small (Denise); Fort Valley, GA; seven grandchildren: Ivan Johnson, Sabastian (Nyla) Walker, Samantha (William) Lamb, Alexis Hill (Oshane) Davis, Courtney Small, Milan Hill, Caitlin Small; six great-grandchildren: Saniya Walker, Navi Johnson, Christian Lamb, Bryson Lamb, Savion Walker, Samir Walker; a loving sister, Louis Emmanuel; Columbus Ohio and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, church members and friends.
