Robert Smith Obituary
Robert “Big Rob” Smith, 68, of North Little Rock passed away at the John L. McClellan Memorial Hospital on the morning of April 4, 2024. Robert was born to Eddie (Strickland) and Robert Smith in Little Rock, on November 10, 1955. He proudly served in the United States Army before being honorably discharged in 1974.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by a sister, Dolly Ann Smith; nephews: Michael Smith, Rickey Smith, Jr., LaDemon Taylor and a niece, Latresa Smith.
Survivors include his children: Karen Burnam, LaRaymond Smith (Crystal) and Christopher Jacko, ten siblings: Dianna Green, Deborah Smith (Joseph), Doris Cobb (Tony), Debbie Barbee (Lawrence), Roger Lee Smith (Frankie), Rickey Smith, Sr. (Deborah), Roger Maris Smith, Reginald Smith, Michael Smith and Willie C. Smith (Beverly); several grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Friday April 12, 2024 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., North Little Rock. Funeral Service will also be at the Funeral Home, at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 13, 2024.
Burial with military honors will begin at noon on Monday, April 15, 2024 at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, North Little Rock.
