Robert Smith Obituary
He was born August 23, 1960 in Marion, Ohio to the late Robert L. Smith and Donna L. (Toombs) Gannon.
On June 21, 1997 he married Molly L. (Malone) Smith, they shared 28 wonderful years together.
Bob was retired from Whirlpool Corporation as a Line Supplier after 32 years.
He is survived by his wife, Molly L. Smith of Marion, Oh., children, Crystal G. (James) Erwin of Marion, Shannon L. (Ralph Holmes) Wilson of Marion, Kyle R. (Frankie Roberts) Smith of Marion, Brandon L. (Megan) Smith of Marion, 8 grandchildren, Caydence, Hayes, Beckham, Sawyer, Bjorn, Kayden, Remi and Aurora. His siblings, brother, Harley (Belinda) Smith of Marion, brother, Marty (Sally) Smith of Marion, sister, Rita Summers of Marion, sister, Holly Collins of Indiana, his cousin, who was like a sister, Tami Hesson of Marion and numerous nieces and nephews.
He will be greatly missed, especially at family cookouts (Yelling for a Diet Coke), playing with his grandchildren and cracking jokes. Bob enjoyed listening to Country Music, going fishing and watching football games. His favorite teams were The Ohio State Buckeyes and The Cleveland Browns.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
