Robert Smith Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Christy Funeral Home - Millville on Jan. 24, 2026.
Robert S. Smith Jr., passed away on Thursday, January 22nd, 2026. Robert was a cherished resident of Millville, NJ, where he had made his home for the past 17 years. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Robert carried the spirit of his birthplace with him throughout his life.
Robert was a dedicated construction worker, known for his strong work ethic and commitment to his craft. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, particularly in feeding the animals that visited the area behind his home. His love for animals extended to his beloved dogs, Indie and Jax, who were constant companions and brought him immense joy.
He is survived by his loving companion, Linda Seiferman, who stood by his side through life's journey. Robert also leaves behind his daughter, Melisa Smith, and his cherished granddaughter, Isabella Fitzgerald, who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.
Robert was preceded in death by his father, Robert Szmit, and his mother, Betty Jane Kelly.
In accordance with his wishes, a private cremation will be held. Those who wish to honor Robert's memory are invited to share their memories and condolences on his tribute wall, where his life and legacy will be celebrated by all who knew him.
