Robert Snow Obituary

Robert Ray Snow was born on May 12,1973 to the late Ernest Clayton "Boy" Snow and Marvene (Coffey) Snow. He married the love of his life, Dalania Darden on October 14, 1995, and this year they celebrated 30 years of marriage.

Robert started the Snow Rodeo Company in the early 2000s. He loved the rodeo world-the friendships it created, the cowboys he met, to raise a great bucking horse, and most of all, the passion he had for helping young, up-and-coming cowboys make a name for themselves. He never turned away a kid who wanted to learn whether they hoped to rope calves or ride bucking horses. He was always there, ready to help. From this deep love for the sport and his desire to show his grandkids the very best of the rodeo world-Robert founded the SOJRA (Southern Oklahoma Junior Rodeo Association). He wanted a place where kids of all ages could start, grow, and learn the ways of rodeo. He could be seen in the roping box, front of the bucking chutes or flanking his bucking horses and bulls at these rodeos. He was always right there to add a word of encouragement or to tell you what needed to be changed to do better.

Robert passed his love of rodeo on to his son and daughter, Rowdy Snow and Trinity Snow-Tuck, and then on to his grandkids. Rowdy's son, Draxxin was his right-hand man, taking every step alongside his Papaw. That same passion and talent for rodeo continued down to Trinity's daughter, Braggin and son, Talont, as well. He was proud to know he was passing his passion and love for rodeo down to the next generation of Snow Rodeo. Robert will be so missed by those who knew and loved him.

Robert leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Dalania Snow of the home; son, Rowdy Snow and Shelton Williams of Garvin, OK; daughter Trinity Snow-Tuck of Spencerville, OK; granddaughter, Braggin, grandsons, Draxxin, Talont and Rhody; his mother, Marvene Snow of Garvin, OK; his brother, Michael Snow and wife, Brittni of Garvin, OK; his sister, Lorinda Vinyard and husband, Brian of Swink, OK, a host of nieces and nephews and a host of friends, family and rodeo family.

The family has asked that anyone that Robert has helped in the rodeo arena be dressed in cowboy attire (chaps, vest, long sleeve shirt and cowboy hat) and line the bucking chutes during the services.
