Robert Sowers Obituary
He was a well-known car salesman for over 50 years mainly in the Woodbridge area. In 1981, he made salesman of the Nation for Lincoln Mercury. His favorite things were horse racing and spending time with his family.
Robert is preceded in death by his mother, Eva Gray Sowers and father, Herbert Sowers, his brothers Lewis, Richard, Sonny, Jimmy, Frenchi, Delbert, and his sisters, Peggy Mathis and Louis Hudson
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Mary Sowers of Nokesville, VA; daughter Kim McConnell (Barry) of Clayton, NC; son, Scott Sowers of Arlington, VA; and daughter, Stacey Hudgins (Brian) of Spotsylvania, VA. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; his brother Jackie Sowers of GA; his sister, Nancy Jewel (Clifton) of NC and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at Mountcastle Turch Funeral Home, 4143 Dale Blvd., Dale City VA 22193 on Saturday, November 30, 2024, from 4pm-6pm with services beginning at 6:00pm. The Rev. Clifton Jewel will be officiating.
