Robert Stanson Obituary

Published by Legacy from May 21 to Jun. 1, 2023.
Robert Daniel Stanson, family man, father, and marine; was born April 15th, 1975. He left this world May
9th, 2023. He is survived by his wife Amy Stanson, his two sons, Samuel Stanson and Marco Rebelo, his mother Lucille Stanson, his father Daniel Stanson, his two sisters Michelle Cahow and Melinda Moberg, former wife Jennifer
Stanson, and his growing number of nieces and nephews: Evelyn, Nicholas, Aidan, and Isabel. Of the
values Robert cherished most in this world, first was his sons, his family, and his country. Robert lived
every day of his life by the creed he took as a Recon Marine: "Honor, Perseverance, Spirit, and Heart"
(OORAH!)
Robert was a man of many talents. A Marine, iron worker, carpenter, fighter, and explorer. He was most
at peace while working with his hands and creating the vision he had, he could simply do anything he
truly put his heart and mind to. Robert was a man that loved the sea, his heart and happiness was easily
observed in his time spent on the ocean. Whether it be surfing, swimming, sailing, or even fishing,
Robert was always embraced by the waters of the majestic Pacific Ocean. As cold as it may be, his heart
and soul were warmed with the embrace of its waves.
Robert cherished his time in Hawaii, always wearing his colorful Hawaiian shirts. In Hawaii, Robert
pursued his love of adventure, deep sea diving, swimming with sharks, hiking mountains, riding horses,
and swimming in the ocean, always pushing the limits to find adventure, fulfillment, and peace out on
the water. No matter the challenge in life: hiking, skiing, climbing, hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles.
Robert reveled at the challenge.
Although a man of action, Robert was also a man of charity. Spending most of the time in his later years
supporting those with mental disease. Robert had a passion for helping those who he felt society had
overlooked, those who had no one to look after them. Another part of his creed was serving his
fellow country: "No man left behind."
Robert was taken from this world too soon in our eyes. A brilliant and loving man, taken from us before
his work could have been done. Robert will be loved and missed by his family and friends. We are
thankful for the time he was able to give us, and hope that his soul can rest, as we know, the Robert that
left us would remind us, that there is much more work to do. OORAH!

Sending heartfelt gratitude for knowing Robert. Followed him on his internet channels. He is a warrior for truth and a man of great character. His knowledge is a balm to me. If possible, can someone from the family reach out to me, as I'd like to know how his legacy can be honored. 916-945-1827. Catheryn
