To the Strausser family.
I just learned the sad news of Bob's passing. Please receive my sencere condolences and deep sorrow. I had the opportunity to work with Bob for several years up until early 2010 when I retired. He was a great co-worker and friend. In fact we shared sn office for about 4 years. Bob was a terrific companion and tremendously helpful. He will be greatly missed.

Calista - I've been a teammate of Bob's on our program for the last few years, directly working with him on our team. I am honored to have known him - a proud, dedicated, meticulous, funny, even-keeled person. I am lucky enough to call him a good friend. Bob was well-liked on the team - making friends came natural to Bob. We miss Bob in the lab, in the office, and outside. You and your family are in my prayers, my condolences to you all.

Dear Stausser Family,

I cannot cannot wave a magic wand and make this go away, but what I can promise is my love and support for each and every one of you. I am here to help in anyway I can. Through this time of mourning together, I pray we can go onto honoring Bob's memory by celebrating his life. By moving our focus on what we do not have, to remembering what we had. May this and God's comfort give us the strength to live.

With all my sympathy
Cindy

Working at Raytheon recently, I spoke with Bob about a half dozen times on the phone one week and found him to be a pleasant, intelligent, dedicated, thoughtful, and classy person. Last Monday we worked together all day in Virginia, solved problems together, ate lunch together, got to know one another more, and found him to be even more impressive in person. Everyone at work is very shocked and saddened to hear of his passing, and wish you all the best during this most difficult time.
