Robert L. Strunk

Robert L. Strunk, 76, of Boyertown, passed away Saturday February 7, 2026 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest with his family at his side. He was the son of the late Leroy and Gwendolyn Strunk.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of 52 years, Patricia (Breslin) Strunk; his daughter Emily Labowski wife of Stephan; brother-in-law Michael Breslin husband of Kathy; several nieces and nephews and several cousins.

Bob grew up in Boyertown and graduated from Boyertown High School in 1967. During his childhood, he played baseball. His passion for the sport continued throughout high school and as a member of Boyertown Legion Baseball.

He served in the Army from 1969-1971. After his tour of duty, Bob continued to participate in softball and senior baseball leagues. He was enthusiastic about the sport and was a dedicated Phillies fan. He was also an Eagles fan.

Bob's greatest passion was his hot rods. Throughout his adult life, he enjoyed working on cars and attending car shows. His garage housed his favorite vehicles, including a 1937 Chevy Coupe, 1955 Chevy Bel Air, and a 1939 Oldsmobile. Bob loved driving and showcasing his cars. He often attended car shows once or twice a week.

Bob worked at Boyertown Casket Company until it closed. He then worked as a body technician at Sugg Chevrolet. For over 20 years, he was employed at Suburban Water Technologies, retiring in December 2024.

Funeral services will be held Thursday February 12, 2026 at 11:00 AM at St. John's Lutheran Church, 45 N. Reading Ave., Boyertown, PA 19512. Visitation will be held Thursday from 9:30-10:45 AM at the church.
