Robert Stults

Robert was born on January 5th, 1939 and passed away on
April 4th, 2025 at the age of 86Robert "Bob" Malcolm Stults passed away on the 4th of April 2025. He was born on January 5, 1939, in Elizabeth, Indiana, the son of Malcolm and Myrtle Stults.
Bob was a devoted husband, a reliable friend, and a respected leader in his career. He worked as supervisor at Indiana Gas Company / Vectren for 42 years until his retirement. After his retirement, he worked at Indiana Utilities Company for 10 years. Bob was active in the Harrison County Republican Party, where he served as vice chairman and precinct committeeman. He served as the Posey Township Trustee for 12 years as well as an active member of the Harrison County Park Board. Bob was a member of the Presbyterian Church of the Covenant where he devoted his skills as an elder and Sunday school teacher.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Malcolm and Myrtle Stults, one sister, Betty Dennison.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Eunice Arlene Stults, two daughters, Dawn Wilkerson (Roger) and Sheri Hubert, four grandchildren: Jared Wilkerson (Sarah), Brent Wilkerson (Jeanne), Kellen Hubert, and Bailey King (Anthony), six great grandchildren: Reis, Graham, Charlotte, Brenley & Breanna Wilkerson, and Malcolm King, one sister, Rita LaDuke, as well as several nieces, nephews, and a host of extended family.
The visitation will be held at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home (318 East Chestnut Street, Corydon, Indiana 47112) on Thursday, April 10, 2025, from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 9:00 AM until the service time. The funeral service will take place on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Elizabeth, Indiana. Rev. Richard Goodwin will officiate all services.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial gifts be made to the Presbyterian Church of the Covenant or Alzheimer's Association of Indiana.
