Robert Swiler

Robert John (BOB) Swiler passed away on July 28, 2022. He was born December 9, 1941, two days after Pearl Harbor. Bob was the second son born to William Ray and Elizabeth Augusta Kelleher Swiler in Soda Springs, Idaho. His family moved and lived in Denver, CO; Duluth, MN, Salt Lake City, UT; Arcadia, CA, Atlanta, GA and Knoxville, TN. Bob loved sport. He played baseball for the University of Utah; coached and refereed soccer and enjoyed golf into his final years. During his life, his sense of humor was always entertaining. His marriage to Linda Swiler was Bob's great good fortune.
Bob is survived by his wife, Linda Swiler; sons Lance (Gingi) and Sean (Ashley); Grandchildren Cameron, Morgan and Cody; brothers Bill (Betty) and Brad; brother-in-law John Halas.
Preceded in death by his parents and Sister, Gayle Halas.
A Celebration of Bob's Life will be Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at 11:00am at St Philip Neri Catholic Church, 292 Munn Rd E, Fort Mill, SC 29715
